Luther Ronzoni Vandross Jr. (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) was an American singer,
 songwriter, and record producer. 
 Throughout his career, Vandross was an in-demand background vocalist for 
 several different artists including Todd Rundgren, Judy Collins, Chaka Khan,
 Bette Midler, Diana Ross, David Bowie, Ben E. King, and Donna Summer.
 He later became a lead singer of the group Change, which released 
 its gold-certified debut album, 
 The Glow of Love, in 1980 on Warner/RFC Records.
 After Vandross left the group, he was signed to Epic Records as a solo artist
 and released his debut solo album, Never Too Much, in 1981.

His hit songs include "Never Too Much", "Here and Now", "Any Love",
 "Power of Love/Love Power", "I Can Make It Better" and "For You to Love".
 Many of his songs were covers of original music by other artists such as 
 "If This World Were Mine" (duet with Cheryl Lynn), "Since I Lost My Baby",
 "Superstar" and "Always and Forever". 
 Duets such as "The Closer I Get to You" with Beyoncé, "Endless Love" with Mariah Carey
 and "The Best Things in Life Are Free" with Janet Jackson were all hit songs in his career.

During his career, Vandross sold over 35 million records worldwide,
 and received eight Grammy Awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four different times.
 He won a total of four Grammy Awards in 2004 including the Grammy Award 
 for Song of the Year for a song recorded not long before his death, "Dance with My Father"

Diana Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer, actress, and record producer.
 Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, 
 Ross rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes, who during
 the 1960s became Motown's most successful act,
 and are the best-charting female group in US history,[
 as well as one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.
 The group released a record-setting twelve number one hit singles on the US Billboard Hot 100, 
 including "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Come See About Me",
 "Stop! In the Name of Love", "You Can't Hurry Love", "You Keep Me Hangin' On",
 "Love Child", and "Someday We'll Be Together".

Following her departure from the Supremes in 1970, Ross released her eponymous
 debut solo album that same year, featuring the No. 1 Pop hit "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".
 She later released the album Touch Me in the Morning in 1973; 
 its title track was her second solo No. 1 hit.
 She continued a successful solo career through the 1970s, which included
 hit albums like Mahogany and Diana Ross and their No. 1 hit singles, 
 "Theme from Mahogany" and "Love Hangover", respectively. 
 Her 1980 album Diana produced another No. 1 single, "Upside Down", 
 as well as the international hit "I'm Coming Out". 
 Her final single with Motown during her initial run with the company 
 achieved her sixth and final US number one Pop hit, the duet "Endless Love" 
 featuring Lionel Richie, whose solo career was launched with its success.

Ross has also ventured into acting, with a Golden Globe Award-winning 
and Academy Award–nominated performance in the film Lady Sings the Blues (1972); 
she recorded its soundtrack, which became a number one hit. 
She also starred in two other feature films, Mahogany (1975) and The Wiz (1978),
 later acting in the television films Out of Darkness (1994), 
 for which she also was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, and Double Platinum (1999).

 The band is best known for its radio singles "Never Alone" in 2004

The Ronettes (/ˌrɒˈnɛts/) were an American girl group from New York City.
 One of the most popular groups of the 1960s, they placed nine songs on
 the Billboard Hot 100, five of which became Top 40 hits. 
 The trio from Spanish Harlem, New York, consisted of
 lead singer Veronica Bennett (later known as Ronnie Spector), 
 her older sister Estelle Bennett, and their cousin Nedra Talley.

Innocent Ujah Idibia (born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria), known by his stage name
 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer,songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur,
 philanthropist and activist. 
 Prior to July 2014, he went by the stage name 2face Idibia.
 He is one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artists in Africa,
 and is also one of the most bankable performing music artistes in Africa.

With over 2 decades in the industry, 2Baba remains influential in the 
Nigerian Entertainment space.
He is also a known philanthropist and humanitarian.
Innocent Idibia was born in Jos, Nigeria.
 He is from the Idoma ethnic group in the southern part of Benue State,
 in central Nigeria.[8] He attended Mount Saint Gabriel's Secondary School 
 in Makurdi, Benue State. 
 He enrolled at Institute of Management & Technology, Enugu (IMT), 
 where he did his preliminary National Diploma course 
 in business administration and management.
 While attending IMT, he performed at school organised shows and parties,
 as well as other regional schools such as the University of Nigeria and
 Enugu State University of Science & Technology.
 He eventually dropped out to pursue his music career. While attending IMT,
 2face Idibia started composing and singing jingles at the GB Fan Club at
 Enugu State Broadcasting Services (ESBS) in 1996.

Also in 1996, he adopted the stage name "2Face" (Tuface).
 He cited the reason as "trying to demarcate my personal life with my business life.[9]
In 2016, he officially changed his name to 2Baba [10]

Toyin Sokefun-Bello (born 14 January), better known as TY Bello,
 is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, photographer and philanthropist.
 Prior to pursuing a solo career, she was a member of the now defunct gospel band Kush.
 TY Bello is also a member of the Nigerian photography collective, Depth of Field.
 She is best known for her singles "Greenland", "Ekundayo", "This Man", "Freedom" and "Funmise".
 TY Bello was born in Ogun State. She attained a degree in economics from the University of Lagos.
 She briefly practised journalism and eventually ventured into photography.
 TY Bello emerged onto Nigeria's musical landscape as a member of the defunct group KUSH,
 an acronym for Kinetically Ushering Salvation into Hearts and Homes. 
 Other members of the group included Lara George, Dapo Torimiro and rapper Emem Ema.
 Kush gained popularity in the early 2000s with the single "Let's Live Together";

Nel Ust Wyclef Jean[1] (/ˈwaɪklɛf ˈʒɒ̃/; born on October 17, 1969)
 is a Haitian rapper, musician and actor.
 At the age of nine,[5] Jean immigrated to the United States with his family.
 He first achieved fame as a member of the New Jersey hip hop group the Fugees.
 Jean has won three Grammy Awards for his musical work.[6]

On August 5, 2010, Jean filed for candidacy in the 2010 Haitian presidential election.
The Electoral Commission ruled him ineligible to stand for office,
 as he had not met the constitutional requirement to have been a resident
 in Haiti for five years prior to the election.[2][8]

Jean's efforts at earthquake relief, highly publicized in 2010 throughout Haiti
 and the United States, were channeled through his charitable organization,
 Yéle Haiti.
 The charity, which conducted education and welfare activities in Haiti
 between 2005 and 2010, effectively closed in 2012.
 It was investigated for failure to file tax returns and mismanagement of funds;
 a high proportion of its money went to travel and administrative expense.
 The New York Times reported that much of the money raised by
 the organization in the Hope for Haiti 
 Now telethon was retained by Jean for his own benefit.
