Joseph Lewis Thomas (born July 5, 1973), known mononymously as Joe,

The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, formerly known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir,
 is an American choir that is part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
 It has performed in the Salt Lake Tabernacle for over 100 years.
 The Tabernacle houses an organ, consisting of 11,623 pipes, which usually accompanies the choir.

The choir was founded in August 1847, one month after the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley. 
Prospective singers must be LDS Church members who are eligible for a temple recommend,
 between 25 and 55 years of age at the start of choir service,
 and live within 100 miles (160 km) of Temple Square.

The choir is one of the most famous choirs in the world.
 It first performed for a U.S. President in 1911, and has performed at 
 the inaugurations of presidents Lyndon B. Johnson (1965), Richard Nixon (1971), 
 Ronald Reagan (1981), George H. W. Bush (1989), George W. Bush (2001), and Donald Trump (2017).
 The choir's weekly devotional program, Music & the Spoken Word, 
 is one of the longest-running radio programs in the world,
 and has aired every week since July 15, 1929.

THE BROOKLYN TABERNACLE CHOIR

The Brooklyn Tabernacle was established in 1847 as the Central Presbyterian Church,
 using the facilities of the First Presbyterian Church
 , at the corner of Willoughby Street and Pearl.
 Their first building was a frame tabernacle on the corner of State and Nevins Streets,
 beginning April 3, 1853. The first tabernacle was destroyed by fire in 1869. 
 The second Brooklyn Tabernacle was built in 1873 at the corner of Marcy and Jefferson. 
 This tabernacle was destroyed during a thunderstorm in 1889.
 The third tabernacle, built at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Greene Street 
 seated 6,000 persons and was destroyed by fire in 1894, but was then rebuilt at the same location.

In 1966, the church is renamed "Brooklyn Gospel Tabernacle" by the pastor Clair D. Hutchins.[2]

By the time Pastor Jim and Carol Cymbala took over the leadership in the autumn of 1971, 
the congregation had dwindled to 40 people who met in a rundown building on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

In the 1980s, the Brooklyn Tabernacle purchased the former Carlton Theatre at 292 Flatbush Avenue 
at 7th Avenue, converting the 1383-seat theatre into a church.
 After many years of decline, the church was revitalized as a non-denominational congregation, 
 and became well known as the home of the award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

Micah Stampley was born on September 7, 1971 to Richard and Delmarie Stampley.
 The fifth of eight children, he exhibited his musical talent from the tender age of four.
 By age seven, he was directing the church choir and teaching vocal arrangements and harmonies. 
 Micah grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Stampley spent his youth soaking up the sounds of Andrae Crouch, Michael W. Smith 
and Shirley Caesar as well as Michael Jackson, Billy Ocean and Cyndi Lauper.[

Stampley graduated from Natchitoches Central High School where he earned several music awards.
 By age 13 he was serving as the minister of music together with his brother 
 (who was his best friend) in their father's church

 Daigle was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was influenced by zydeco, blues,
 and Cajun music in her environment.

Her mother called her house "the music box" because she was always singing.
 Daigle did not consider music seriously until contracting a debilitating illness. 
 She claims that it was one of the best things that had happened to her
She was kept out of school for nearly two years.[5] During college prep school, 
she planned to enter the medical field and do mission work. 
Daigle attended a charter school and completed a year and
 a half of class work in six months,graduating early.
 She took a year off from school and did mission work in Brazil 
 before attending Louisiana State University for Child and Family Studies

Lazarus began his career from the inception of ska in the early 60s. 
He performed lead vocals for Byron Lee And The Dragonaires,
 playing on tours of the West Indies and North America. 
 In 1965, credited as performing with the Byron Lee Orchestra,
 he relished his first taste of international fame when ‘Funny’ 
 was released through Island Records in the UK. 
 He also performed as part of an idiosyncratic, neglected Jamaican rock band,
 Tomorrow’s Children. His sporadic output resulted in a few releases of note,
 although in 1971 he maintained a high profile with ‘Girl’ and the bewildering 
 ‘Tomorrow’s Children’.
 Although Lazarus’ releases were erratic he worked in the studios as an arranger,
 producer and songwriter. In 1972, as a performer, 
 he secured a one-single contract with a major label for the release of ‘Hail The Man’,
 but failed to satisfy the company’s expectations.

Siwa was a top-5 finalist on the second season of the series 
Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and the youngest contestant on season 2.
 She appeared on the show with her mother and was eliminated in week 9.

Siwa began auditioning for Abby Lee Miller's ALDC dance competition team in 2014
